Simply put, he loves being naked in real life, and he movies should reflect that: “Being naked is something that happens in either end of the day for me, and if you’re lucky, somewhere in the middle as well. And I don’t understand why it’s an issue. I don’t take my clothes off in movies because I want to flash my body around. I took my clothes off for movies because I’m an actor. I believe the movies that I make say something about the world and therefore they should reflect human instincts and natures and desires. A big part of that for us is our sexual life and romantic life.” A true icon!
Cooper Koch appeared naked in and he doesn’t wear a prosthetic penis in the series. He even said that he was “shocked” at the public response to the nudity, he , “I’m an actor, and I’m talking about doing a nude scene in a TV show, and, yes, the TV show also has to do with sexual abuse. Like, it’s just sort of an unfortunate pairing that happened. I was comfortable doing it, and…we all have bodies and body parts, and it’s just sort of, like, normal for me.”
In a post to Instagram that has since gone viral, the actor posted a slideshow of photos, including one of himself nude, sitting on a bed. The only thing covering him, a strategically placed arm.
Not only is Viggo Mortensen not afraid to do a nude scene. He isn’t afraid to do one that also requires him to fight two clothed men with knives. Okay, so maybe he was a little scared – or at least a little nervous about shooting that amazing scene in “Eastern Promises,” but he did it. Just as he also revealed his naked body in all its glory in a much funnier – and less knives out – scene in the 2016 independent film “Captain Fantastic.” We’re not saying the nudity was a factor, but Mortensen was nominated for a Best Actor Oscar for both films.
