Soon after that, I took to wearing baggy shirts most days. But even after the other girls caught up to me, my breasts were a constant target, often the first thing people saw when they met me. I have been described more than once as “the black-haired short girl with big breasts.” The unwanted attention has sort of gotten better since I’ve become a mom and gotten a bit older. But my boobs are still a constant source of angst and frustration.
Big naturals are having , as the desirability pendulum swings between “big ass” and “big tits”, it sometimes feels hard to keep up with whether boobs are in or not. If the looks I get on the street, on Instagram, and in the office mean anything though, big boobs have never truly gone out of fashion. And while they play a role in the dynamic I have with my peers, as well as how I’ve been perceived at work, they feature most prominently in the romantic (and sometimes even platonic) relationships I’ve had with men. It runs deeper than the carnal attraction that my partners have expressed towards this part of my body and extends to their understanding of what it feels like to be a woman with larger-than-average boobs. Everything from the intrigue of how to properly stimulate larger breasts to the self consciousness and insecurity and even self loathing that can come with having them are things the cis male brain likely cannot fathom without it being explained to them.
It seemed to me that there were rules some moms could break to be sexy, and others, like myself, could not. I thought about the hottest moms I know today. I thought of Jess Ves and Emily Ratajkowski immediately. These two both had something in common I could identify right away. They were both single, and both only had one child. Jess Ves from Love Is Blind is the ultimate hot mom, with killer big boobs, might I add! She openly admits she had breast implants and how they helped her confidence after having her child. I showed her photos to many of the surgeons in my consults as inspiration, and this was around the time they would roll their eyes at me and tell me I had to “be more realistic.” Why was she allowed to flaunt her boobs in a bikini on Instagram and be called hot? We are both mothers; the difference between us is that I have more kids and I’m not single. Was that the real issue? Maybe it was time to explore this second piece of the puzzle more deeply.
But she wasn’t always so confident about them. In high school, her natural 34DDs were the cause of some anxiety, as she recalled, ‘I used to feel uncomfortable about how big my boobs were, I used to say that when I turned 18, I was going to get a boob job to make them smaller. My mom told me, ‘Don’t do it. You’ll regret it in college. And I’m so glad I didn’t. I like them. They’re my best friends!’
You might be surprised to see Big Mom on this list, but in her younger days, she was one of the most stunning women in One Piece. While her current gigantic form certainly qualifies her for the “big boobs” category, it’s her youthful appearance that truly stands out.
