The talented trio of Stuart Broad, Alastair Cook and James Anderson has been mainstays of England Cricket Team for over a decade. As the three prolific cricketers are sweating on the field against West Indies in the final Test of the summer, we reminisce on an interesting moment they shared together nine years ago. Cook, Broad and Anderson went stark naked for Cosmopolitan magazine’s May 2008 issue. The handsome cricketers posed nude holding nothing but cricket bats (strategically placed) for raising awareness for testicular cancer. The picture of the poster boys of England is still fresh in the minds of their ardent fans and cricket lovers.
Alastair, then 26, Stuart, then 24 and James, 28 raised quite a many eyebrows with their raunchy photoshoot. The three up and coming players of English cricket had done the unimaginable, back in the days. They shed their clothes to go completely naked. Cook, Broad and Anderson carried a bat to cover their modesty. They posed nude to help raise awareness for testicular cancer on behalf of the Everyman Campaign.
