Twelve Naked and Afraid All-Stars take on punishing locations together. The survivalists try to last up to 60 days with no food, water, clothes or shelter. Does teaming with other elite survivalists help their chances or make the challenge more difficult?

This season, “Naked and Afraid” will introduce its first transgender participant and another contestant who hopes to be the first Black woman to complete the “Naked & Afraid” challenge. Survivalists can “tap out” at any point during the challenge, but if they choose to go all the way, they must arrive at the designated extraction point on the final day to be collected by a helicopter or boat. There is no cash prize for completing the challenge.
This season features a special “tribes” episode where two “teams” – each composed of a rookie and a “Naked & Afraid Legend” who has completed the challenge before – must make it to the halfway point in South Africa where they will meet up and combine resources in an effort to complete the challenge together.
